What is RSS?

RSS commonly stands for ‘Really Simple Syndication’. An RSS feed from a website lets readers view the latest content through a feed reader rather than having to visit the actual website.

Parliamentary News feeds

Our news area has a number of different feeds you can subscribe to. As well as our main feed that delivers all news stories, we have feeds for each individual subject a story may be associated with, such as Education or International Affairs.

The main feeds from our news area are listed below:

Parliamentary News RSS Parliamentary News main
Commons business RSS Commons business
Lords business RSS Lords business
Committees news RSS Committee news
Bill news RSS Bill news

Make your own feed

To subscribe to any of our individual subjects, navigate to the subject page, for example Employment and training. The URL, or web address, will be http://news.parliament.uk/subject/Employment-and-training/ adding ‘feed’ to the end of this address will give you the default feed for this page. You can either subscribe to this feed or add ‘rss’ or ‘atom’ after ‘feed/’ to give you the RSS feed or Atom feed for that page respectively.
